Bakırlar Tekstil started its textile journey with the wholesale fabric trade in 1960s. The second generation of the family took over the management of the company in 1997 and entered the industry by making the first investment of today's integrated textile factory in Adana Hacı Sabancı Organized Industrial Zone.

Bakırlar Tekstil, which has established weaving, 2 for 1 twisting, spinning, fabric dyeing and finishing, yarn dyeing facilities and intermediate stages respectively, operates today as an integrated facility. 1997, 2007, 2011 and 2018 were important investment years in order to meet the growing demand for the company; The Company achieved significant successes in using the latest technology and being prepared for the future.

As of 2023 , Our Solar Panel Manufacturing facility gave a startup with 500MW production capacity, so we had taken a position of Producer in renewable energy industry.
